Song for the asking.
Apr. 23rd, 2005 01:33 amBisle pictures, by popular demand. By popular I mean
mat_attack and
maxaud. (Why, aren’t these guys popular?)

The kutti Russel’s viper that welcomed us at the beginning of the trek. There were three such fellows, each about three hundred meters apart. Probably they were looking for their mommy and the mommy ran away by the sounds made by us urban cannibals.
Find the rest in flickr, in chronological disorder. Those who think I should post a detailed write-up should not raise their hands, please.
Update: This baby is a Malabar Pit Viper (Trimoresurus malabaricus), and not a Russel’s viper (Vipera russellii), according to
yathin.
