The trek was memorable despite all the big animals staying away from us. For one, it rained. For two, we stayed in an anti-poaching camp on Saturday night, which was kind of wonderful. We could visit Gopalaswami Betta, which we had been independently planning otherwise. Gopalaswami Betta is a hill temple surrounded by gorgeous (what else, doh) hills. The other drama during the trek, I'd rather not mention. If people can't keep a cool head when going gets tough, they better stay at home and watch TV.
My other crib is about going there with an impoverished Canon PowerShot A510, which doesn't feel like a camera at all. Despite my reluctance to use it, I've a few pictures which I wouldn't rate as bad.
Will update this post later when I've them online.
Update: There, stuff online. I've reason to crib more - looks like I tried -2EV underexposure midway and forgot to turn it back to normal. So most pictures of Sunday are kind of ruined. Dumb me :-(
