Everybody loves a good bandh.
Feb. 12th, 2007 11:36 pmThere were movies, while we were stranded: All good, but I still have my hair raised after watching the greatest jump cut ever from 2001. Why oh why, my generation is not given a Stanley Kubrick? (And while we are at that, do we have a Tarkovsky, (or a Sagan, or an Asimov) of our own? Please tell me we indeed do have.)
This is one movie I want to set aside for repeated viewing. Along with Solaris and Stalker, but I need the discs. Really like this genre, if they could be called thusly.
Umm, but first I want my chicken pox back, for tomorrow there is ohpiss. Alternatively, I plan to bring some hartal-loving Kerala leaders to Bengaluru and set them free here. Really like to sit back and watch a movie or read a book, occasionally like this.
