Feelin' groovy.

Happy (belated) birthday to a very good old friend, who celebrated his twelfth birthday on August 16. No, I haven't ditched you, I will come back to you, promise! :) (For the curious, Wikipedia entry on Debian is quite good.)

There's a rumour in the town about a Debian Developer Conference this weekend. (Hmm, but there are only two Debian developers in this whole subcontinent...)

Been to BR Hills on the weekend. Came back on Sunday night, and on Monday afternoon found that there is more interesting wildlife right at the backyard, in the lake. There was a family of pelicans parading in the distance (with cute young ones!) There was another group of storks resting on a tree on the other bank. Then the usual egrets, and other winged friends whose names I am yet to learn. (That said, I may be totally wrong on these names as well...)

What I miss is a camera and a lens that can zoooom. These beautiful fellows deserve a good amount of ogling and photographing. But alas, where's the $$$?
