Bang! Bang!

The terrorist attacks of irregular frequency at our place started on the Independence Day of 2005. Those "attacks" were inspiring enought to plan a short film based on the events. (Plan is in my head, where else.) Inspiration hit a high when the leader of terrorists (eyewitnesses say that they often have a strength of two), greeted a happy new year on Sunday morning.
Here is an outline of the screenplay that never was, in pictures.

Kill Sajith Vol 1.
SCENE ONE.
Flashback in B&W.

Aditi showed up at our place for the first time on last August 15. The date was easy to remember since it was a Monday and a holiday. (Holidays we love, don't we?)

Rafeeq had a hard time chasing with the camera. She wouldn't stay still for more than two straight seconds, but he finally managed to take some wonderful pictures.

Soon, shyly, timidly, Aditi's younger sibling followed her. While Aditi is the kind of lady that can enter any room and totally own the place, "Shideesh" is a shy, self-effacing, mild-mannered young man who manages to simply pass a smile.

Aditi quickly got hold of the digital camera that was with me and took this picture of our guy - look at the brilliant execution of the classical rule of the thirds!
SCENE TWO.
Jump cut to present.
Aditi shows up with a gun. She is even willing to pose for a picture, which was surprising. Surprise went away when she grabbed the camera from me and the shutter went "kichaak!", "kichaak!", "kichaak!"
A neighbour's car was framed, with flash and all, before I knew it.

But I'd got hold of her gun by this time. Gently I got the camera back, pointed the gun at her and said, "bang! bang!"
She became very angry at this turn of events, hit me with the hand in bandage, gave a firm scratch on the neck which left a mild trail of blood, and stomped away back to home, not minding her mom who was watching the funny show.
Aditi's mom smiled.
I smiled too.

(Scene two happened in early November - Aditi got her hand in sling when she fell down in a park. She's completely okay now, bandage removed and all, allowing nothing to affect her spirit.)

Re: Theme????
Date: 2006-01-04 05:11 am (UTC)And I simply didn't have the patience or time this time.
First intention was to mimic Tarantino's orignal script at a few places but alas... I can be really disgusting even to myself. Know your limitations and all that, you know ;)
Thanks for being so forthright. I expect even more blunt words.
