Good day, sunshine

Long long time ago, about eleven years ago, in wintery Wayanad, a boy was reading a book, sitting under a tree in the family's small compoud. A radio that was tuned to Akashavani Thiruvananthapuram-Alappuzha played a random youth programme. The cow was grazing, her calf was in a slumber. Sun shined, a cool breeze blew over.

The radio station then changed to "English" music. The anchor introduced famous Canadian rock star Brian Adams. Boy continued reading, rather uninterested.

Next it played the Beatles song "Good day, sunshine", from the album Revolver.
Good day sunshine, good day sunshine, good day sunshine

I need to laugh and when the sun is out
I've got something I can laugh about
I feel good in a special way
I'm in love and it's a sunny day

Good day sunshine, good day sunshine, good day sunshine

We take a walk, the sun is shining down
Burns my feet as they touch the ground

Good day sunshine, good day sunshine, good day sunshine

Then we'd lie beneath the shady tree
I love her and she's loving me
She feels good, she knows she's looking fine
I'm so proud to know that she is mine.

Good day sunshine, good day sunshine, good day sunshine

This was the first Beatles song I've ever listened to, and one of the first phoren music pieces at that. I cherish this song. I love the space-time transport it does to me.

(I haven't given much of a thought to the text-picture synapsis - I suppose no one else would care much. Anyway. Dude who got drunk and puked in a midnight in my hostel room asked to post something because he is bored. I would like to blame this upon him. Next time you ask, I will write the story of your puke, you moron. You better keep yourself unbored.)

This is the most mundane post I have ever read. Has made me a believer. Blogging is definitely a piece of shit.

That reminds me of another Beatles song, Yellow Submarine. The lines: ...we all live in a Yellow Submarine..., imagine the fad four living in as huge a piece of shit as a yellow submarine! Not too mundane I guess, then! Haha - that's twice the name ;-)!

:D

Who says it has to be extraordinary? Curious: why are you reading this at all?

Hmmm. How come?

Ha (Ha?), this is the silly journal of a silly guy. Ergo, it has to be mundane - I have no delusions of excellence in writing or anything else I do. All this is personal stuff which happens to be shared with some friends. I think you should be reading a worthy book (or go for whatever action that suits your taste) if you are looking for quality content.

In short, there's no refund since I haven't sold you anything for cash :-P

And I thought that your nudge meant that you are one helluva bleeping blogger.
