Shingo La.

At 5050m, Shingo La pass was the highest point of our trek. It rained almost all the time we were on the top, and I had to keep the camera covered. I did not took a pair of gloves along (smart boy did not expect such a cold place in Zanskar). The place is cold and windy, and was under a think fog cover. My hands were frozen all the time, I had a tough time handling the camera. But none of these are really excuses for the general bad quality of the pictures, I know.

In the turquoise lake down there, people throw random pieces of plastic.

Shingo La onwards, our nights were moonlit.

Haider and Tenzin, at Zanskar Sumdo - a day and another camp after Shingo La. That was where I met Vinay Singh and parents. There are not many pictures in between.
